Job Summary
Paramedic/EMT role delivering advanced patient care on ambulance responses. Assess each call to determine best course of action, utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids; act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene/unit; drive the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
