Job Summary
Drive the ambulance and assist the Paramedic in providing basic life support functions to patients while helping Emergency personnel after reaching the hospital. Maintain MS State certification, hold a valid emergency driver's license, and possess a current CPR card. Accept subordinate roles and alternate assignments when census or staffing changes occur to meet hospital needs. Adhere to safety, infection control, and universal precaution guidelines while demonstrating professional behavior and interpersonal skills. This PRN position requires physical ability to perform assigned duties and may involve performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- MS State certification as EMT with EMS training equal to or exceeding national registry standards
- Valid MS emergency drivers license
- Valid CPR card
- Physically able to perform assigned duties
- Is physically able to perform job responsibilities
