Job Summary
Assist Paramedics with providing efficient and immediate care to patients in various emergency and non-emergency situations. Perform basic medical support including CPR, AED, ventilation, and controlling hemorrhaging to stabilize the patient's condition. Document all aspects of care provided under EMS direction and operate the ambulance in various road conditions to safely transport patients to medical facilities. Requires current Missouri EMT License and MO Class E license for residents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current Missouri EMT License
- MO Class E license (for Missouri Residents)
- Chauffeur's license or Class E equivalent (for MO Non-Residents)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to follow instructions
- Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served
