Job Summary
EMT position with National Health Transport in South Florida offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus, overtime opportunities, and flexible schedules. Responsibilities include examining patients for signs of illness/injury, administering basic life support within license/certification limits and approved protocols, safely handling and transporting patients by ambulance, transferring patient care information to receiving personnel, completing EMS run documentation, conducting equipment testing and inventory, ensuring ambulance and equipment are in service-ready condition, and maintaining thorough knowledge of BLS equipment and safe operation of the ambulance. Requires EMT license, Florida Driver’s License, BLS certification, EVOC certification, HS diploma/GED, and ability to communicate in English; roles available as Full-Time and Part-Time. Required Qualifications
- EMT License
- Florida Driver’s License
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) Certified
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass physical evaluation including lifting 125 lbs
- Must be able to communicate and understand written & conversational English
- Must be employed in good standing with current EMT license
