EMT-Basic - Radford Transport - Flex or PRN

Administer basic life support care and transport patients in pre-hospital settings, responding to medical emergencies in a 911 environment. Assess illness or injury to prioritize medical procedures, perform extrication and defibrillation, and administer medications and treatments at the basic level. Observe, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to treatments to physician or command center personnel. Maintain current knowledge of treatment techniques, protocols, and equipment while checking and stocking assigned units. Transport patients to hospital and non-hospital sites, ensuring safety guidelines are followed and driving records remain current. Prepare required reports, maintain patient records, and obtain information for insurance billing.
