Job Summary
Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality. Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. Participate in community programs to establish strong community relations. Starting pay rate is $15.90+ DOE. Requires High School Diploma, State EMT certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- National or State EMT certification
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
