Job Summary
Respond to calls to provide efficient and immediate patient care, working closely with dispatchers to determine optimal response strategies. Capture details of patient care using verbal and written communication skills while strictly following company protocols and standards of care. Manage squad inventory, including proper PPE and Lifepak 15 monitors, ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Schedule includes flexible 8, 10, 12, and 16-hour shifts with two 16-hour weeks qualifying for full-time status. Requires active Ohio EMT certification, BLS CPR, and a clean driving record. No bariatric patients assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an EMT course that meets or exceeds the National Standards Curriculum
- Active Ohio EMT certification
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- CLEAN driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of HEMS Mobile Touch
