Job Summary
Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality. Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Participate in community programs to establish strong community relations. Respond to both emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, NREMT
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience in healthcare
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
