Job Summary
The position of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) involves responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for ambulance service, and administering pre-hospital care in agreement with medical protocols. EMTs are responsible for the operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles, along with providing essential patient care and completing necessary documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed EMT, AEMT or Paramedic required
- No more than 2 traffic violations within the last 36 months
- Drivers must be at least 19 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Current EMT-B licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current Georgia Driver's license
Additional Requirements
- Must possess and maintain current EMT-B licensure
- Must possess and maintain current BLS certification
- Must possess and maintain a current Georgia Driver’s license
- Drivers must be at least 19 years of age
