Job Summary
EMT-B (Patient Care Technician) in an urgent care setting delivering patient-focused care across New England. Responsibilities include triaging patients, taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, assisting with minor procedures, documenting in EHRs, explaining medications and treatment plans, collaborating with the clinical team, supporting discharge planning, and training new staff. Requires ability to work 12-hour shifts (full-time, part-time, or per diem options) with some travel between ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour radius; must maintain HIPAA-compliant patient information and effective communication with providers and patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- National EMT certification and licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (not CPR | ACLS)
- 1 year EMT experience (bonus qualifications mention)
