EMT - Arrow Champaign (Full-Time)

Responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the ill and injured under the direction of a paramedic, maintains ambulance readiness, cleans ambulances and crews quarters daily, and provides direction to EMTs on calls. Requires an EMT license for Illinois upon hire, a valid driver’s license, and completion of NIMS 200/700/800 within 6 months, HazMat Awareness within 6 months, and ERT certification within 6 months; includes testing into Carle Regional EMS System and providing a letter of good standing from the most recent EMS system, with waiver if no prior EMS experience. Describes responsibilities for patient transport, clear crew/vehicle position communication, and participation in an EMS workflow within Carle Health.
