Job Summary
EMS Technician – Level I is an entry-level role focusing on developing foundational skills in energy management and building automation. Under supervision, you will operate meters, read electrical diagrams, navigate WebCTRL and ALC software, interpret floor plans and schematics, perform wiring checks, startups, and checkouts, prepare as-built drawings, document startup issues, and support the commissioning process. Key duties include troubleshooting basic wiring/termination, configuring end devices and instrumentation, understanding ARC 156 codes, interpreting data sheets and submittals, working with schedules and alarms, and maintaining detailed documentation while collaborating with the EMS team and Project Manager to ensure adherence to installation and commissioning standards.
