EMS/Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary
EMS/Outreach Coordinator to lead quality assurance for prehospital emergency care, analyze QA data, and coordinate remedial and ongoing education for EMS providers. Supports as ED Liaison to Community Relations, communicates findings to EMS providers, develops and implements training programs, and oversees adherence to national standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. Works with medical staff and education professionals to coordinate semi-annual EMS pre-hospital skill reviews, revise treatment protocols, maintain education records, and facilitate continuing education activities. Maintains cooperative relationships with ED physicians and participates in regional EMS committees and boards; serves as a resource for evaluating legislation affecting EMS delivery and provides education sessions and credentials management as part of ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED (Required)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse
- EMS-I (EMS instructor) to maintain site approved license
