Job Summary
Conduct live, instructor-led classroom sessions and labs while completing 48 clinical rotations on Priority Ambulances. Attend every class and lab with full engagement to prepare for the National Registry Exam within three months of course completion. Successfully pass pre-employment testing, background checks, and drug screening before starting the 10-week program. Graduates commit to a full-time EMT-B position with Priority Ambulance for at least 24 months following licensure. The program runs Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1700 with a one-hour lunch break, covering 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and current driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment interview
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Ability to pass a background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening)
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Full engagementāattendance at every class, lab, and rotation
- Prompt scheduling & completion of licensing exam upon course completion
- Commitment to a full-time position with Priority Ambulance for at least 2 years after licensure
