Job Summary
This part-time EMR position involves providing Basic Life Support, recognizing medical emergencies, performing critical examinations, and managing first responders at medical emergency scenes. Candidates must possess EMR Licensure and CPR certification. Responsibilities include filing patient reports, maintaining effective communication with medical personnel, transporting patients, operating emergency vehicles, performing technical rescues, and cleaning equipment. The role requires technical skills, the ability to handle emotional needs of victims, and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain EMR Licensure
- CPR for the Health Care Provider

- Good knowledge of street systems, addresses, and physical layout of the area
- Understanding emotional and medical needs of victims
- Ability to perform technical medical skills with accuracy
- Ability to drive and operate emergency ambulance units
- Ability to author reports with narrative and numeric information
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain a high degree of academic and practical knowledge in emergency medicine.
- Must attend continuing education classes.
