Job Summary
Seasonal Empty Can De-Palletizer Operator responsible for ensuring steady flow of empty cans to production lines and Solbern fillers at Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA. Duties include removing shrink wrap and tops from pallets, handling pallets with push buttons/levers, collecting tags for quality control, and coordinating with the empty can forklift driver and floor leads to address issues. Requires verbal communication, calmness under stress, adherence to food-safety initiatives, and ability to pass pre-employment drug testing while working extended schedules during the August–November fresh-pack season. Required Qualifications
- Able to communicate with others verbally and remain calm under stress and strain.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended schedule, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically August to early November.
- Complies with all Food Safety Initiatives and performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Able to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
- Able to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
