Job Summary

Assess participants' skills, interests, and employment barriers to connect them with appropriate job resources and opportunities. Assist clients with resume building, interview preparations, and navigating job services while providing constructive feedback throughout the process. Foster self-esteem by helping participants recognize their skills and offering continuous support as they move through the employment journey. Organize job-readiness workshops on resume writing and interviewing skills, and collect participant data to maintain accurate records and track outcomes. Cultivate relationships with local employers and vocational training programs to facilitate connections that support long-term employment. Respond to phones, door buzzers, and security alerts while following established safety and emergency protocols. Assist in shift coverage as necessary and participate in the on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license with proof of current insurance and an insurable record
  • Meet all background check requirements
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from shoulder to overhead (occasional)
  • Must be able to carry and pull up to 75 lbs. (occasional)
  • Must be able to push up to 40 lbs. (frequently)
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, push, carry and drive frequently
  • Must be able to twist at waist, squat, kneel, stoop, crouch and reach overhead occasionally
  • Must be able to stand in place and sit at desk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to perform repetitive keying, data entry, wrist motion, and reaching above shoulders frequently

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's in Behavioral Sciences or a related field preferred
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of unique challenges for those who have experienced domestic violence and homelessness
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
