Employment Vocational Specialist (TEMPORARY) (51505)

Screen and assess vocational and training needs for participants; prepare lesson plans, administer tests, and instruct adults in vocational skills such as interviewing, resume writing, and work behaviors. Evaluate clients’ vocational skills, support employment placement and ongoing job searches, assist those with disabilities in finding suitable opportunities, provide one-on-one computer support for job research, coordinate training with outside agencies and employers, document services in a timely manner, contribute to treatment planning, and collaborate with WestCare staff to uphold professional community services. Requires strong communication and computer skills, ability to respond to crisis situations, and a willingness to engage in continuous program improvement. Location-based duties conducted in a professional office setting. Education: High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's in vocational counseling or related field preferred; 1+ years’ experience in a related role are preferred.
