Employment Support Specialist

Conduct direct mentorship to help individuals with severe mental illness develop full-cycle employment skills, including resume creation, interview preparation, and navigating transportation barriers. Remove barriers by working with clients to establish preferences and create personalized plans for achieving employment goals. Network with local employers to build relationships, advocate for clients, negotiate accommodations, and perform follow-along contacts to maintain employment. Document client progress daily while collaborating with clinical teams to coordinate care. Requires a valid driver's license, current car insurance, and a vehicle for daily use to transport clients in the North Suburbs of Chicago.
