Job Summary
Part-time Employment Support Professional assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use challenges to obtain employment; responsibilities include vocational assessment, job development, placing clients into jobs, follow-up supports, on-site job coaching, collaboration with clinical team, adherence to disability/privacy laws, pre-employment drug screening, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff, promote client self-advocacy, and support employment goals within the Individual Supportive Employment with Long-Term Vocational Supports model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting and job placement
- Pre-employment drug-screening
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background checks
- Education verification and credentialing as required
- Experience providing vocational assessment, job development, training and follow-up supports
- Knowledge of disability/privacy laws
- Strong communication and counseling skills
- Experience collaborating with clinical teams and stakeholders
- Excellent client-centered service orientation
