Job Summary
The Employment Support Professional III helps individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or traumatic brain injuries achieve competitive employment in their community. Responsibilities include creating personalized dream plans and career profiles, identifying partner organizations for volunteering or employment, building and maintaining relationships with employers, guiding long-term employment goals, coordinating with the treatment team and family, explaining effects of earned income on benefits, facilitating accommodations and supports for Deaf/Hard of Hearing and LEP individuals, developing integrated interventions, performing job development and task analysis, delivering in-community job duties when needed, providing follow-along supports, educating employers, conducting outreach to reduce barriers to employment, ensuring documentation and meeting placement/billing goals, and collaborating with external providers. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (non Human Services) with 4 years Full time OR 8 years Part time applicable experience required
- Bachelor degree (Human Services) with 2 years Full time OR 4 years Part time applicable experience required
- Master degree (Human Services) with 1 year Full time OR 2 years Part time applicable experience required
- Experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability, and/or substance use disorder | 1-4 years (Dependent Upon Education - see Job Description) | Required
- Travel and driving may be required.
