Job Summary
Employment Success Specialist position in Doraville focused on inside sales at the Career Center, negotiating with employers to create community employment opportunities for individuals visiting the Career Center, securing contracts/agreements, and driving high-volume placements. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining employer relationships, identifying leads and market trends, reporting outcomes in a CRM, delivering quality individualized services aligned with Goodwill’s mission, and frequent in-person engagement with customers and employers to secure employment matches and improve placement results. Requires a Master’s (or equivalent) in a relevant field and a strong sales/relationship-building background, with experience in community resources and understanding of disability and job readiness realities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, vocational rehabilitation, or a counseling-related field OR Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation or a counseling-related field AND one year of related experience OR Associate’s degree in a vocationally related field AND two years of related experience OR three years of counseling experience linked with community resources, special education, or instruction
- Strong sales background
- Good time management, analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Specialized knowledge to obtain contracts and negotiate fee-for-service opportunities; medical, psychological, social, and vocational aspects of disability; community resources; occupational information and job readiness
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships; extensive experience networking with employers and industry leaders
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a flexible geographic environment; self-direction, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible in hours and work locations across greater service area
- Strong judgment and ability to maintain positive working relationships
