Job Summary
Employment Specialist helps young adults (18-25) explore employment, volunteer, and training options to develop work skills leading to competitive employment. Builds opportunities by engaging community employers, providing job coaching, and delivering life-skills education and apprenticeship experiences. Performs individual and group training, documents outcomes, and participates in agency meetings. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation; bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged; positions are full-time in Arlington and Methuen with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous experience providing employment support and/or training required
- Experience working in a community-based setting and/or residential setting with youth is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
