Job Summary
Coach persons with developmental disabilities to develop independent job skills and prepare them for competitive employment. Work side-by-side with individuals at job sites to reinforce essential skills or teach new abilities like resume development, job interviewing, and application completion. Provide necessary assistance for placement and accurately complete all documentation. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations. Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and two years of relevant experience required. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
