Job Summary
Conduct individual vocational-supportive counseling to help clients identify strengths, establish career goals, and target symptoms interfering with work. Deliver job coaching, problem-solving, and support on and off the job while performing job seeking skills training and on-the-job performance assessments. Plan and provide work-related supportive services including grooming assistance, clothing acquisition, wake-up calls, and transportation. Assess clients, families, and environments through home visits and vehicle transport, coordinating crisis assistance within 24 hours when required. Prepare reports, applications, and documentation for supervisors while maintaining electronic healthcare records, billing, and referrals. Participate in the Individual Treatment Team, attend mandatory training and committees, and utilize AWARE's core values and wrap-around philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or HSE
- Two years of experience working in the mental health field
- Valid Montana Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record
- Acceptable criminal and protective services background check
- Willingness and ability to productively utilize work time in order to meet the needs of the individuals being served as directed
- Ability to meet specific fiscal goals (billing, case load number maintenance, weekly) monthly
- Ability to complete Individual Placement and Support (IPS) training within six months of hire
