Job Summary
Conduct job searches, develop resumes, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving and retaining competitive, community-based employment. Execute Individual Placement Plans, screen job leads, and provide job coaching, including transportation training and support fade-out strategies. Serve as a liaison between employers and individuals at worksites to ensure successful placements and natural supports. Manage caseloads, document progress through case notes and reports, and attend team meetings per Illinois Department of Human Services requirements. Maintain awareness of the local job market and execute inclusive employment consulting engagements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum three (3) years of related work experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Proof of insurance
