Job Summary
Facilitate employment transitions and relationship building for individuals with disabilities by engaging participants in intake, developing Career Path Plans, and coordinating with employers, Case Resource Managers, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors. Provide on-site job training, troubleshooting support, and environmental analysis to assist participants in overcoming workplace barriers while reducing the need for paid support. Maintain current authorizations, submit case notes and reports within 24 hours, and manage case files for 10-12 clients in strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Work full-time hours at a salary of $26.20 to $34.06, requiring a high school diploma, one year of experience with developmental disabilities, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- High level of professionalism in appearance, actions, communication and business casual dress attire
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality in written and oral communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize client services and job duties while maintaining flexibility in your schedule
- Effective oral and written skills for case notes, reports, facilitating, meetings, and marketing
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Outlook)
