Employment Specialist - I/DD

Interview individuals to select candidates who meet employer qualifications by reviewing application data, work history, and test results. Locate job openings through various methods and match applicant skills with employer specifications. Counsel job applicants to establish realistic career goals, assess employability readiness, and facilitate training for job placement. Provide initial screening and intake services, determine suitable jobs consistent with individual needs and physical limitations, and assist consumers with integration into work settings. Perform job development activities including employer field visits, telephone solicitations, and promotional mailings. Complete necessary documentation for program needs and funding providers.
