Job Summary
Conduct one-to-one on-the-job training and ongoing support services to assist persons with disabilities in obtaining and retaining community-based competitive employment. Develop relationships with community employers, perform job analysis, and match participants with appropriate roles while acting as their advocate in the workplace. Maintain waiver compliance for all participants funded through ODP and record training data regarding time, approach, and progress. Prepare weekly plans and maintain working relationships with OVR, support coordination agencies, and county IDD offices. Complete ACRE training within state-mandated deadlines and participate in a minimum of 24 hours of annual applicable training.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Human Service field preferred
- experience working directly with individuals with disabilities/disadvantages accepted
- good work habits, such as acceptable attitude, attendance, and punctuality
- respond appropriately to supervision
- valid Pennsylvania Drivers License
- 3 year clean MVR
- clean Criminal History
- Child Abuse clearances
- Fingerprinting Clearances
