Job Summary
Provide necessary assistance to place persons with disabilities in competitive employment by coaching them to develop independent job skills. Work side-by-side with individuals at job sites to reinforce essential skills or teach new competencies such as resume development, job interviews, and job applications. Accurately complete all documentation while cooperating with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations. Full-time role in Manhattan, NY starting at $20.00 per hour. Requires high school diploma, two years of experience supporting people with disabilities, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
