Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized career planning, job placement, and retention support for clients seeking meaningful employment. Build and maintain employer relationships to create competitive, integrated employment opportunities while conducting client orientations to explain services and discuss rights. Advocate for clients with employers, educate them on hiring benefits, and maintain frequent contact with referral sources to identify potential matches. Report job development outcomes to supervisors regularly and travel extensively to conduct on-site job supports and transport clients as needed. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of employment service experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- At least one year of experience providing employment services
- Current driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Evidence that incumbent is free of infectious and contagious disease, such as TB, prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in an applicable field from an accredited institution
