Job Summary
Organize area Memorandum of Understanding campaigns, develop new business relationships, and supervise Job Coaches while monitoring their work hours. Search for on-the-job training opportunities matching customer interests, research job boards and social media, and network with hiring managers to secure placements. Assist customers with applications, resume writing, and interview coaching, then maintain weekly contact via phone, text, or email while documenting progress in the database. Drive clients to locations as needed and ensure job retention by offering support and resolving employer issues. Maintain regular communication with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and complete other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Open availability during days, evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Auto registration
- Auto insurance with minimum coverage of bodily injury $50,000 per person/$100,000 per accident
- Confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Own computer
- Own printer
- Own smartphone with data plan
- High-speed internet connection
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Some college including a degree in any field
- Experience working with individuals with a disability
- Prior counseling experience
- Job placement experience
- Job coaching experience
- Experience working within public vocational rehabilitation programs
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Proficient with Adobe
- Proficient with web-based database systems
- CRM experience
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- ASL
