Job Summary
Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to determine eligibility for employment services, then document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members. Provide ongoing support to assist clients in obtaining and retaining independent employment, including discovering potential employer matches, furthering career growth, and building skills. Make connections to maintain strong community partnerships with other service providers and employers, represent Compass at professional meetings and community events, and travel throughout the area to provide transportation to clients as needed. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of DDA and DVR regulations while documenting data on progress toward goals. This role requires in-person attendance Monday through Friday with flexibility for nights and weekends, and includes a wage of $21.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- One-year related experience and/or training working with people in crisis, specifically in employment services
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a vehicle insured for you as a driver
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Technology savvy - Especially Microsoft Office Applications and Zoom. PC and Android devices
- Ability to perform CPR/First Aide as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
