Job Summary
Coach persons with developmental disabilities to develop independent job skills and prepare them for competitive employment. Work side-by-side with individuals at job sites while reinforcing essential skills or teaching new competencies such as resume development, job interviewing, and application completion. Provide necessary assistance for placement and accurately complete all required documentation. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
