Job Summary
Conduct work-related services including assessment, job readiness training, and skills building with SMI patients. Spend at least 80% of time in the community working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation, and the criminal justice system. After employment is obtained, provide ongoing supports to sustain active and meaningful employment. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in behavioral health outreach, employment services, and working with the SMI population. Must pass a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- 1-3 years of experience working with the SMI population
- Experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse
- 1-3 years of experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities
- 1-3 years of experience providing employment services and job readiness skills
