Job Summary
Manage a dedicated caseload by providing 1-on-1 case management, conducting job readiness assessments for substance use, legal history, and health, and delivering counseling on education, skills training, and social services. Execute job preparation activities including resume building, practice interviews, and computer tutorials while maintaining accurate client data in Salesforce and generating monthly reports. Foster strong relationships through participation in case conferences, department workshops, and stakeholder presentations. Adhere to Chrysalis policies, the Code of Ethics, and mission goals while utilizing independent judgment and organizational skills to support clients in finding and keeping employment.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Chrysalis's mission
- Sensitivity and understanding of various cultures and lifestyles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting with others with diplomacy and tact
- Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and the ability to work and make decisions independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately yet maintain flexibility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with 'can do' attitude and initiative
- Maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
- Computer literacy required
- Must be proficient in Internet research
- Must be proficient in MS Office programs
- Willingness to learn other applications as needed
- Willingness to travel to meetings (mileage reimbursed)
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
