Job Summary
Conduct screening assessments and develop individualized learning plans to support program members in obtaining competitive employment. Lead efforts to create and secure paid or unpaid work experiences, including contacting employers, customizing job descriptions, and providing on-site coaching and travel training. Assist participants in navigating the job search process, applying for positions, and maintaining employment through ongoing monitoring and skill development. Maintain strict documentation standards by completing progress notes within 48 hours, drafting Staff Action Plans, and submitting monthly updates and billing forms. Participate in weekly coaching sessions to review progress and propose solutions for meeting position goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- You are required to participate in all required/mandated trainings
- maintain all certifications related to job responsibilities (transcript for OPWDD and/ or ACCES-VR trainings, as needed)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Background, passion and proven results for teaching other people
- Passion for helping make the job landscape more equitable for people with disabilities
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
