Job Summary
Remote Employment Litigation Paralegal supporting attorneys handling complex plaintiff-side matters in Oregon and Washington, focused on Wage & Hour Class Actions and single plaintiff employment litigation. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings and discovery, proofreading, legal research, maintaining case files, assisting with hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation, managing calendars and deadlines, and providing client-facing support. Requires 3+ years of paralegal experience, familiarity with WA/LAD and OR statutes, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years paralegal experience in Wage & Hour Class Actions and single plaintiff employment litigation in Oregon and Washington
- Experience with WLAD, MWA, FLSA (WA/OR) state and federal statutes
- Strong e-filing experience in State and Federal Courts
- Experience propounding/responding to discovery, calendaring hearings and deadlines, and assisting with mediation/arbitration/trial preparation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proofreading and document review abilities
