Job Summary
Employment Litigation Of Counsel in Salt Lake City focused on defending and litigating employment-related claims and advising employers on employment and labor law issues. Responsibilities include representing employers in court and arbitration, and handling matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases; ability to manage and run litigation cases in a first-chair capacity. Requires a JD with excellent academic credentials, 9+ years in employment litigation, Utah Bar admission in good standing, and supervisory experience over associates and paralegals. Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, multitasking, organization, time management, and project management skills; maintains professionalism and teamwork. #LI-Hybrid will be considered but role page indicates IN_PERSON office in Salt Lake City.
Required Qualifications
- JD from accredited law school
- 9+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Current Utah Bar admission in good standing
- Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
