Job Summary

Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges, advising, counseling, and training employers on various labor law issues. Represent clients in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations for class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases. Manage and run litigation cases in a first-chair capacity, supervising associates and paralegals while delegating assignments and providing feedback. Requires current Florida Bar admission, nine-plus years of experience, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in the Orlando office with a hybrid schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • JD from accredited law school
  • excellent academic credentials
  • 9+ years of experience in employment litigation
  • significant experience managing and running litigation cases in a first-chair capacity
  • Current FL Bar admission in good standing
  • Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work
  • delegating assignments and providing feedback
  • In-depth understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
