Job Summary
Defense and litigate employment-related claims in courts and before agencies; represent employers in mediation, arbitration, and in employment matters including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, and non-compete cases. Provide guidance to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations. Houston, TX office with a HYBRID work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3+ years of litigation experience; employment law background strongly preferred
- Active Texas bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly
- Understanding of court and employment-related agency procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism and teamwork, with ability to work independently
