Job Summary

Responsible for supporting a plaintiff-side Employment Law Litigation practice in New Jersey as an experienced Paralegal. Responsibilities include drafting, revising, and proofreading pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas; assisting attorneys with case preparation for mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trial; managing electronic case files; monitoring court deadlines and calendars; coordinating state and federal filings including e-filing in NJ and federal courts; facilitating communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors; maintaining organized case-management records; supporting team with administrative and litigation tasks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 2–6 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in employment law or plaintiff-side civil litigation; experience with NJ state/federal filing; proficiency in case management software and MS Office; strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team; commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • 2–6 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in employment law or plaintiff-side civil litigation
  • Experience with New Jersey state and/or federal court filing procedures strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with case management software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
