Job Summary
Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to U.S. employment law hypotheticals, including Title VII discrimination claims, FLSA wage disputes, FMLA leave questions, and NLRA union activity scenarios. Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, accuracy of employment statutes, and proper application of agency guidelines (EEOC, DOL, NLRB). Identify gaps in AI reasoning around burden-shifting frameworks, employee classification, non-compete enforceability, and workplace safety. Provide detailed, high-quality annotations and written feedback to refine AI models while collaborating with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards. This role supports Turing's mission to accelerate frontier AI research by ensuring models handle complex labor relations scenarios accurately. No prior AI experience is required; a Juris Doctor and three years of U.S. legal practice in employment law are essential. Flexible, fully remote work is available for 10–30 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Bar admission (active/inactive)
- 3+ years of U.S. legal practice in employment law, labor relations, or workplace compliance
- Strong reasoning skills across Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, and NLRA
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
