Job Summary
Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, representing employers across manufacturing, hospitality, medical, and education sectors on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters. Provide day-to-day legal advice and training on compliance with federal, state, and local employment, education, and labor laws. Collaborate with partners on complex matters and trial preparation, while regularly handling court appearances, mediations, and depositions. Maintain regular client communication to deliver case updates and strategic guidance. This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement within a nationally recognized firm known for collaboration and client service.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York
- 3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on employment law
- Experience handling discrimination and wage and hour claims under federal, state, and local laws
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
