Job Summary
Develop employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities by assisting in program employment plan creation and engaging in active job seeking to secure placements. Train members in self-marketing, provide comprehensive job coaching, and deliver case-management services while maintaining appropriate staff and member interactions. Ensure compliance with funding source obligations, licensing standards, and all inspection requirements through the Agency's Periodic Service Review and quality assurance programs. Perform routine maintenance of employment contacts and cooperate with DDD/DCP&P staff during investigations. Shift varies throughout the week with evenings and weekends required as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A.A. in a related field or 3 years' experience providing employment or counseling services to individuals with disabilities
- Must be able to engage in active job seeking to obtain employment for members
- Must be able to train and assist members in self-marketing to prospective employers
- Must be able to ensure compliance with obligations to and requirements for funding sources
- Must be able to engage in comprehensive job coaching
- Must be able to maintain an acceptable level of member job placements
- Must be able to provide member case-management services
- Must be able to maintain appropriate staff/member interactions
- Must be able to engage in the Agency's Periodic Service Review (PSR) and other quality assurance programs
- Must be able to ensure compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
- Must be able to cooperate with Agency and DDD/ DCP&P staff in any inspection or investigation
- Must be able to ensure compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic
- Must be available for evenings and weekends as necessary
