Job Summary
Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers within the Workforce Australia program to assist them in overcoming barriers to employment and transitioning into the workforce. Actively engage with 'work ready' participants to secure sustainable employment outcomes, including reverse marketing to employers and clearly identifying barriers preventing job readiness. Provide participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce while applying strong problem-solving skills and resilience to maximize employment targets. This role is based at the Preston site and requires a current Working with Children Check and a police check.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and trustworthy self-starter
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations and an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI's and targets
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
- A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent
- Successful completion of a police check

- Industry experience in customer facing backgrounds such as retail and hospitality
- Life skills to provide mentoring and support
