Job Summary
Employment Consultant based at Newcastle site working with participants in the Workforce Australia program to assist them to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce. Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers; actively engage with work-ready job seekers to secure sustainable employment outcomes including reverse marketing to employers. Clearly identify and address barriers preventing jobseekers from being job-ready; provide participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce. Apply strong problem-solving skills and resilience to maximise employment outcomes. Must hold a Driver’s license as travel throughout the region will be required.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in areas such as Employment Services or Community Services are desirable
