Employment Consultant I

Provides guidance and various community linkages to participants and associates in BAC programs to support successful job outcomes. Conducts intake and assessment evaluations to identify vocational interests, strengths, abilities, and potential obstacles; develops individualized career/job plans focusing on job readiness (resumes, applications, etc.); builds and maintains relationships with employers to facilitate job training for supported participants; serves as liaison between job sites and professionals, paraprofessionals, and employees; completes required documentation and monthly billing for funding sources; stays current on program changes and VR requirements; may require VR approval and compliance with AHCA and BAC procedures; travel is primarily local. Knowledge of social work principles, HIPAA, and ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information is required. Availability noted as Full Time; background checks, licensing/insurance requirements, and driving/transportation capabilities are specified as prerequisites.
