Job Summary
Employment & Compliance Specialist who partners with satellite clinics to provide HR leadership and support including onboarding, employee documentation, HRIS administration, recruiting, and assisting clinic office managers with employment topics. Covers core HR functions such as compliance, benefits administration, payroll processing, and HR operations; supports new employee orientation, maintains personnel files, coordinates events, handles resignations, maintains the Employee Handbook, coordinates training, reports department metrics, and ensures HIPAA confidentiality. Requires collaboration across staff, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to travel to satellite locations; works 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with flexible hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum two years experience in a human resource position, preferably in the dental field
- Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
- Knowledge of payroll and employment documentation (preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance requirements relevant to dental practices (preferred)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Skill in working with computers and computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel including physicians, managers, and other staff
- Willingness to travel and work irregular hours
- Proficient knowledge of Gmail, Google Workspace, and Google Drive
- Knowledge of State and Federal Health and Safety Regulations
- Must have a valid driver’s license to drive to dental clinics in the region
