Employer and Community Partnerships Manager (33413)

Manager – Outreach and Engagement leads a team of professionals focused on establishing relationships with local employers, organizations, and community members to create a pipeline of career and externship opportunities for Goodwill program participants and graduates. The Manager - Community Relations concentrates on outreach to promote Goodwill services to private and community organizations to increase enrollment in Goodwill programs. Plan, organize, and conduct effective employer engagement activities to develop a pipeline of prospective employers in targeted industries; establish long-term relationships with local employers; address hiring needs, skill requirements, training, externships, and on-the-job opportunities; stay informed on workforce trends; identify career openings and coordinate with program managers to connect participants to opportunities; maintain monthly quotas for employer contacts, externship sites, and job openings; collaborate to determine employment strategies and match participants to job requirements; organize employer job fairs and represent the agency at events; develop and nurture relationships with community organizations and employers to expand outreach and enrollment; lead and develop the Community Relations team, provide coaching and performance management; conduct outreach and deliver presentations to raise awareness of Goodwill’s mission and services; build a broad referral-network and measure outreach effectiveness; travel as needed and comply with organizational policies.
